Reedy Racing Shows Marked Improvement in Second Start at Ace Speedway

Reedy Racing and driver Bryan Reedy showed up to tackle Ace Speedway for the second consecutive week and second time in his Late Model Stock Car career on Saturday May 30, 2020.

Major changes were made to the set up on the car during the week at the shop. The team and driver were looking to improve on their 13th position finish the week prior.

The car was much better for Bryan in the three 10 minute practice sessions early in the day. The work crew chief Clay Highberger put in during the week definitely paid off with performance on the race track.

Bryan turned a 15.88 second lap in the Wood’s Service Centers Inc., Mobility Plus of Virginia, DCT Towing & Recovery, Pennzoil, Faye Curren MKB Realtor, Chris Kocher MKB Realtor, Jersey Mike's Subs, Maxey Seat Cover Center, Sports Haven Inc., Clark’s Racing Engines, Hedgecock Racing Enterprises Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in qualifying. That lap would place him 11th out of the tight field of 13 cars.

At the start of the race the driver settled in nicely and raced with good pace. Bryan battled with several other cars en route to an 8th place, lead lap finish.

The team is undecided on their next race. Follow Reedy Racing on Facebook and keep an eye on www.reedyracing17.com for an announcement about our next event in the near future.
